Asking for prayer everywhere....

I am asking for prayer everywhere I can think of as I serve a BIG G-d and I know that he hears and answers the prayers of His people!!  Please pray for my sweety baby!

Today I took KianAdley (almost 6 months) in to the dr. as he has had the stomach flu for quite a few days. While there, the Dr. discovered he has a loud heart murmur.
We are very worried and scared as our last child with a heart murmur ended up being diagnosed with serious heart defects and passed away at almost a month old. Her name was RuthAnne.
 He has an echo scheduled for 10:30am  on Friday Nov. 12.  
We would love prayer that the murmur isn't anything serious or significant; an "innocent" murmur as they are called.

My favorite television show..
We don't have cable or even local channels anymore but we do get some through Netflix. Recently we started watching Monk and I love it. It's very funny. I find that I can relate to alot of Mr. Monk's OCD tendencies which maybe isn't such a good thing?? :)
  I also enjoy NCIS, Law and Order SVU and Leverage.

Well, honestly I don't have a favorite movie but I do have a few that I like a lot. I really enjoy "For Richer or Poorer".  My dh and I love watching it together.
I also enjoy a few old movies such as Cheaper By the Dozen and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Sound of Music is close to a favorite!

One of my favorite hymns is Be Thou My Vision. I love when we get to sing it in Home Fellowship!

I have too many other songs that I like an awful lot to be able to pin down a favorite. So that's about as close as it gets!

Thankful Thursday

  I am thankful for jeans that I can fit into once again! I am thankful for the beauty right outside my window!
I am thankful that the L-rd has shown me what a true friend is. Because of this I am at peace and so thankful that those friendships that brought toxicity into my life have ended. 
I am thankful for my freedom in Christ!
I am thankful for quiet time each day. I really need it! :)
I am thankful for the state I live in! I love living in Amish Country and all the neat things that brings my way.
I am thankful for family!
I am thankful for places like Panera Bread where I can eat yummy food!!
I am thankful for our 15 passenger van that faithfully went many places this past week.
I am thankful that Yeshua never lets us stay where we are but keeps calling us to more maturity and better understanding!

Our vacation!

Our vacation to WY was wonderful! We made new memories and got to see family we haven't in a long time! I have alot of pics to share with you all and will try to get them on asap.

Packing..

I spent my day today doing this:

We're leaving for WY early Wednesday morning so today we packed. In the above tub is 8 children's clothes; 6 outfits each! My two oldest are packing their clothing in backpacks and my dh and I will be packing ours in a small suitcase. We also have our sock box ready and the food tub.
More to do tomorrow; stop our mail until we're back, finish packing clothing for hubby and myself, do some cleaning, pack toiletries and baby's dipes and things. Will be a busy day!
