We spent this past Sunday at a state park we had not been too! We were in the mood for exploring and getting to know more about the great state of Indiana!
We decided to walk one of the many trails. It was so beautiful and yes steep! It was hard walking up the steep hills 42 weeks pg..:) But we (I) did and it was so energizing and fun!
Here our some pics of the trail....
A lake on the trail..
JaidenNoah and the flowers the children picked..
another small lake on the trail..
an old schoolhouse..
Morgan at the play area in the park..
the children enjoyed rolling down the hill..:)
Zaralayna bringing her worm to show me..
and the big lake in the park; Sand Lake which we plan to swim at later this summer..
It was such a great day! I LOVE my family! There is nowhere I would rather be then with them!

Happy Birthday!!! Someone Special!!
Today my son Micah turns 8!! So he is this week's Someone Special!!!
Micah is a twin. His sister RuthAnne went to glory when they were 27 days old. We always say that he is so active and busy to make up for his twin sister.. :)
He is such a bright boy! He has a quick wit and engaging smile!
He has started reading really well these last few months and I am so glad to see him enjoying books!
He also finds himself in trouble of all sorts. His little hands our always busy and sometimes they find naughty things to do. He really does remind me of Curious George! :)
I have to say also that he is a handsome little man! Big blue eyes looking up at me...
We're so happy to have him in our family. He is a wonderful blessing and I am blessed to be his mama!

My Mother's Day!!
Although it wasn't exactly like I wanted..(I wanted to be holding my newest blessing but he/she had other ideas..) it was a great day!
My dh and children set a plant on the table so when I opened my eyes Sunday morning this is what I opened them to. A beautiful flowering hanging plant!
Then my dh made me my favorite breakfast..Eggs Benedict. He is an excellent cook incase I haven't mentioned that before. His desire was to be a chef and although that isn't what he ended up doing we get to taste all his fabulous meals in our home! We're the better for it..perhaps not our waste line but our mouths love us! (and him!)
Then today I went to pick up my son and when I got home I noticed two more hanging plants on my porch! I missed them when I left but I had baby on the brain and was sidetracked..yes, thats my excuse and I am sticking to it! They are all beautiful! :)
My oldest dd made me chocolate covered strawberries and I ate them while we watched Army Wives lastnight! YUMMY! :)
I am truly a BLESSED woman!

Our Sunday...
Today we had a nice afternoon with the children! We spent the afternoon across the street from our home, in the field letting them play and teaching a few of the littles to ride bikes.
The children found some brand new baby bunnies who were so sweet! But their mama was no where in sight. We think she may be dead and they have been left to fend for themselves. :( They were only a few days old if that. Their eyes weren't even open yet.
My dh has been teaching Isaac to ride his bike the last few weekends. He is doing really great! And he is so proud of himself!! :)
All the kiddos love watching the train go by..
And of course playing in puddles is a must!
ZaraLayna did very well on her bike also..
Baby boy spends his time pushing his stroller around..maybe he is practicing for when baby arrives..
He also had to stop for a snack..:)
Gabby and her older brothers; Zeke and Josiah had to get some tree time in..
you can just see Gabby's hair hanging down from the tree..
And some more random pics from our day.....
