Nothing that I know of!

There have been so many good things that have come out of our struggles. The L-rd has been speaking to my dh and showing him so many things. My dh is learning and growing. I am learning and growing.
We are able to talk with our children about prayer and they can clearly see just how powerful it truly is! They get to see the L-rd's provision!
Tonight after we prayed we had a blessed time as a family just talking and discussing G-d's word. How we as believers so often take the Word and mold it to fit into our society or our world instead of us as His creation molding our lives to fit Him. We spoke to our children about learning to read G-d's word and to know G-d means what He says. It's not hidden so that we might not know. It is written plainly if we are but willing to open our eyes and look!
My dh read from Hosea and so much of what He read was true right now in our country! He was telling us to remember how important obedience to Father is! Obeying His commandments and not choosing which ones we want to obey and which ones we don't. Just obedience, plain and simple.

It was a truly wonderful time! I looked around at my children and thankfulness just filled my heart full to bursting! I may not have man's riches and success according to the American Dream but I have something that is much more valuable! I have a wonderful G-dly husband and 10 amazing children! I have 10 people who are part of me walking around on this earth! And you know what else? I can't take my van, home or jewelry to heaven with me but I can take my children! We can all sit at Yeshua's feet one day together! We can all worship the King of Kings with the angels together!
Now, you tell me, what's better than that!? Nothing that I know of!

Blessings!

Faith like that!

As the new year approaches there are many answers and steps of faith that we are taking as a family. We have nothing that we can do beyond what we are doing. We have to completely trust the L-rd with whatever happens now.  We have to lay our worries, cares and anxieties at His feet; at the cross and wait upon Him.

We our praying together as a family over these needs each evening and one amazing man of G-d that we think upon is George Muller. Muller opened many orphanages and put all of his faith in the L-rd to provide. There were many needs and when they had a need they would go to prayer and wait upon the L-rd and He would provide; every time! Also George Muller didn't wait for the answer to thank Father but as soon as He prayed He begin to thank Him in faith for the answer.
So, as we pray together we pray for faith like this! Faith that we can thank Him for the answer before we see it. Faith that we will stay on the course ahead of us and not veer to the right or left. Is it scary? Yes! Is there moments of doubt and insecurity? Yes! But we must not be tempted to run ahead of Father. We must do what we can and what He leads us too and then let Him supply the answers!

Here is a little snippet on George Muller..

FAITH TO PROVIDE

On March 27, 1881, Mr. Muller found that no money remained in
hand for the School, Bible, Missionary and Tract Funds. Nearly £1,400 had
been spent for these Objects during the previous month.

He writes:
“What was now to be done, dear reader, under these circumstances,
when all the money for the above Objects was again gone? I reply, we did
what we have done for 47 years, that is, we waited continually upon God.
My dear fellow-labourers in Bristol, and my dear wife and myself in
America, brought our necessities again and again before the Lord.
“Here in the United States, besides our habitual daily prayer for help,
we had especial seasons 4, 5, and 6 times a day additionally, for pouring out
our hearts before our Heavenly Father, and making known our requests unto
Him, being assured that help would come: and we have not waited upon the
Lord in vain. This plan may be despised by some, ridiculed by others, and
considered insufficient by a third class of persons; but, under every trial and
difficulty, we find prayer and faith to be our universal remedy; and, after
having experienced for half a century their efficacy, we purpose, by God’s
help, to continue waiting upon Him, in order to show to an ungodly world,
and to a doubting Church, that the Living God is still able and willing to
answer prayer, and that it is the joy of His heart to listen to the supplications
of His children. In Psalm ix. 10, the Divine testimony regarding Jehovah is,
‘They that know thy name will put their trust in Thee.’ We know Him, by His
grace, and do therefore put our trust in Him.”

Devotions for Dieters

I am not sure what I am going to do next here on my blog so as I think on it let me post the devotion for today from a devotion for dieters Yahoo group I am on.

Date:   Wednesday December 15, 2010
Time:   All Day

Notes:   Luke 1:49 - NLT
'For he, the Mighty One, is holy, and he has done great things for me.'

Carolyn felt good about herself. She was in her own apartment, working full-time at a job she loved, and she was looking better than ever before. God had been so good to her. She was afraid when she first set out on her own, but she knew He was looking after her. With God on her side, she felt she could accomplish anything. God had set her feet on a good road, and she was going to try her hardest to stick to it. She wanted everyone to know what God had done for her, and she planned to do nothing that would allow anyone to doubt. The power of God shone brightly through her life, and she was glad.

TODAY'S THOUGHT: I want my diet to be a sign of God's grace!

Today's Tip: Extract the extracts from your pantry and add a few drops to your diet soda. Vanilla in diet cola, rum in diet cola, vanilla in diet cream soda.

Day 30 - a dream for the future

My dream(s) for my future are raising G-dly children, having a superb marriage, lots more babies, doing a good job at the job given me by Yeshua Messiah, loving my L-rd with all my heart, soul, mind and strength! And lastly being about the business the L-rd has given me; has given all of us as Believers; to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth!

30 Day Blog Journal (Day Twenty Nine)

30 Days..

Day 29 - hopes, dreams and plans for the next 365 days...

Well, first and foremost is to continue to seek Father about what His will is for our family. How we can go spread the gospel and give those who need it the Word of Life!
Then to put our faith in action. To begin to meet the needs of the poor, hungry and needy right here in our area of IN. To give to others out of our excess...

Then to get down to my weight loss goal and then once I get there 10 lbs less..

To continue to homeschool my children and guide them as they grow..

Increase in G-dly knowledge and grow in my relationship with Messiah Yeshua! (this is #1 right along with seeking His will as to how and where we should go..)

Continue to be real with people the L-rd brings into my life, standing against the enemy and the ways he wants to keep me bound!

Let me end with sharing this song by Chris Tomlin with you..
This is my heart's cry and that of our heart as a family..

30 Day Blog Journal (Day Twenty Seven)

30 Days..

Day 27 - my worst habit..

My worst habit I think would be worrying. I know it might not be characterized as a habit but if you do something long enough it becomes something you do sometimes without even thinking of your other options.

My other options would be to trust Yeshua and give my burdens to Him. He promises to carry them for me but worrying is such a habit I worry first and trust second. Not good!
I am growing in this area. Life has a way of doing that. You either let the L-rd teach you as you go through the trials of life and be changed or you don't.

I pray that I get to the place where I trust first and worry never!
